Houston Mod members are invited to celebrate another successful year of promoting and preserving modern architecture and design in Houston. Please join Master Mods and the Mod Squad for this special event exclusively for Houston Mod Members. Refreshments and lite bites will be served.

The Style In Steel Townhouses in Townhouse Manor were designed in 1968 by the architectural firm Wilson, Morris, Crain & Anderson. The grouping, a two-story home flanked by two single story homes, was built as a promotional development to examine the potential of steel in residential construction for the 1969 National Association of Home Builders convention. All three townhouses are still intact as single-family dwellings and are in excellent condition. Our hosts are the new owners of the middle unit and are in the process of a thoughtful renovation. As a special treat, the other two townhouses will be open for guests to tour and enjoy.
