Charles Rice is a professor of architecture and the University of Technology Sydney. He is author of The Emergence of the Interior: Architecture, Modernity, Domesticity (2007) and Interior Urbanism: Architecture, John Portman and Downtown America (2016). In 2020 he was awarded a Fulbright 70th Anniversary Scholar Award at the University of Michigan.
