This small, but well-planned library is a contrast in comparison to Pei's more familiar, grandly-scaled structures. For the Cleo Rogers Memorial, he wisely selected a simple and direct design complementing the surrounding environment. The entry plaza, paved with red brick, extends to form the building's wall.
