Good morning Honolulu! Guests have this morning and afternoon on their own. Please see the tours page for suggested self-guided tours of Waikiki. There are no organized tours on this day. Docomomo US and Docomomo US Chapters/Friends will meet in the morning and afternoon for annual discussions. In the evening, guests can pick up credentials at the Outrigger Canoe Club and enjoy an opening reception.

Special guest Sid Synder, architect and business partner of Vladimir Ossipoff for over 30 years, will provide a welcome to guests at the event.

Getting there: 

Valet parking is available at the Outrigger Canoe Club starting at 4:30 PM on Wednesday for the Opening Reception. Let the parking attendant know you are there for the Docomomo event. Attendees are encouraged to carpool.

The location is also within walking distance from most of the Symposium hotels via a path along the beach.
