Biography

The sole female partner at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in the 1960s, many major projects bearing the names of her male colleagues have been acknowledged as having her signature. She helped design the Equitable Building in Chicago, and played a leading role in the creation of modernist icons such as the Pepsi-Cola building on New York's Park Avenue, built 1960.
