This tour, led by Docomomo US/New England President and Brown University professor Deitrich Neumann, will begin with short presentations on John Nicholas Brown and Richard Neutra at the John Nicholas Brown Center. Participants will then visit several modern and postmodern buildings on the Brown campus, including: Philip Johnson’s Computing Laboratory (1960); his List Art Center (1971); the Heating Plant by Felix Candela (1969); Wriston Quadrangle by Perry, Shaw and Hepburn (1954); Champlin and Morriss Halls by Perry, Shaw Hepburn and Dean (1960); the Graduate Center by Shepley, Bulfinch, Richardson and Abbott (1968); Science Library by Warner, Burns, Toan and Lunde (1971); and the New Pembroke Dorm by Donlyn Lyndon Moore (1973). 

Free and open to the public, lunch included
