Information about sponsorship opportunities is available here. You can register here. For sponsorships, payment by check is preferred, which can be sent to:

Docomomo US

New York, NY 10023

If you need an invoice please send a request to info@docomomo-us.org

How do I register?

Registration is now open. Online registration will close temporarily on May 22 so we can prepare for the event and will reopen once we are on site on May 29.

If you are a sponsor and would like to use your comped registrations please email info@docomomo-us.org

How do I register for tours?

All remaining tour tickets are now available to the public for registration.

View all tours here and click on the tour you would like to attend for the direct registration link.

Can I go on a tour if I am not registered for the Symposium?

All remaining tour tickets were made available to the public on April 30th.

A tour I want to go on is full, what should I do?

Please add yourself to the waitlist. In many cases, we are able to accomodate waitlist requests. If there are enough people on the waitlist, we can consider adding a tour. We do our best to accomodate everyone but space is limited. If there is a tour you really want to go on, the best thing to do is register early.

I am a sponsor. How do I use my comped registrations and tours?

Please email the following information to info@docomomo-us.org: full name as it should appear on a name badge; title; affiliation; email address of the person being registered; the name of each tour the person would like to register for. Docomomo US staff will complete the registration and a confirmation email will be sent to the email addresses provided.

Does the Symposium have a virtual component?

All speakers are asked to provide a recorded version of their presentations. Recordings will be made available after the Symposium, free to Symposium attendees and at a minimal rate for Docomomo US members and the public.

Are there hotel blocks reserved?

The Mayfair House in Coconut Grove, designed by Kenneth Triester, is the main hotel of the Symposium. The Arya and Marriott, both in Coconut Grove, are also recommended.

Our room blocks are now closed. If you would still like to book at the Mayfair, please email info@docomomo-us.org.

Visit the Travel and Accommodations page for hotel and travel details.

Do I need a car/what is the best way to get around?

We do recommend a car as the best mode of transport, however ride shares such as Lyft and Uber are readily available and relatively inexpensive. There will be some events in walking distance of each other and some events where Docomomo US will provide bussing. The Mayfair Hotel is in downtown Coconut Grove with great restaurants and other amenities all right at your doorstep.

Will AIA credits be available?

All keynotes, sessions and tours will be submitted for AIA credits.

What is the refund policy?

Refund requests up to 30 days prior to the symposium (received by April 29) will be refunded in full minus a $25 administrative fee; requests received 15-29 days prior to the symposium (April 30 - May 14) will receive a 50 percent refund. No refund requests will be honored after May 15th or for no shows.

All refund requests must be in writing to symposium@docomomo-us.org with "Cancellation" in the subject line.

Should you need to cancel for reasons related to Covid-19, you have the option to either:

  1. transfer your registration to a future Symposium or
  2. transfer your registration to another attendee.

Please be sure to indicate your preference when submitting your cancellation request in writing. Failure to communicate a preference will result in cancellation without benefit.

Registration substitutions can be submitted in writing at any time without penalty.
