The University of Hawaii campus walking tour provides a rare treat for symposium attendees to explore the Mid-Century Modern buildings on the main educational facility in Hawaii. As Hawaiiʻs economy prospered and grew through the 1950s and 1960s so did its premier educational facility. Students will be docents along the way to educate the participants on the various local architects and their relationship to Hawaii’s climate and culture.
This self-guided tour is FREE and can be done at your leisure.
The walking tour map will be uploaded here prior to the Symposium.
