Docomomo US/Northern California invites you to join us for a members holiday party! 

Celebrate the holidays (after all the stress of the holidays are over) and cheers to a new year in 2024 with your fellow Modernism-lovers! We had so much fun gathering socially last year, that we are making this an annual tradition. We're hosting this party on the early side so that you'll get to enjoy the incredible view to the Bay during sunset.

Hosts Monique & Peter Anton will share a bit about their journey to owning and stewarding this Midcentury Modern home in the Ladera neighborhood of Portola Valley. We'll also share some brief updates about what we've been up to in 2023, and what we are looking forward to in 2024!

Light snacks and drinks provided. We will also be raffling off some fun Modernist gifts--vintage architecture books, a Docomomo membership, Docomomo walking tour tickets, private Modernist house tours, and more!

This event is a fundraiser to support the efforts of the Northern California Chapter of Docomomo US. All proceeds go to our work as an all-volunteer non-profit 501(c)3 to document and conserve buildings, sites, and neighborhoods of the Modern Movement! We use funds to put on educational events, advocate for buildings under threat, undertake documentation projects (such as our 70s Turn 50 map), and to fund our National Symposium Travel Grant for students.
