Docomomo US is excited to bring back be:cause modern: the auction for modernism, this November. We had a blast last year can not wait to see what amazing items will join this year's auction lineup. All proceeds will benefit the ongoing work of Docomomo US and support its mission, including educational and advocacy efforts.
The online auction will open for bids in early November and is expected to bring together more than 100 uniquely modern items across all price points.
Support the modernism you love with a donation
In anticipation of the auction, Docomomo US is currently seeking special donation items such as signed drawings and books, paintings, woodcuts and lithographs, unique and vintage tabletop items, furniture, exclusive tour experiences, and modern home stays. See some of the items that were included in last year's auction.

All donations must be confirmed no later than October 15, 2021 to be included in the auction. Donors will be acknowledged on our website and the auction site. Donation letters for individual tax purposes will be available upon request.
