Tour Day is Docomomo US’ annual national event that works to raise the awareness of and appreciation for buildings, interiors and landscapes designed in the United States during the mid-20th century. Now in its eighth year, Tour Day invites organizations and people across the country to take stock of significant 20th century built design in their state, city, region or neighborhood and celebrate that work with a tour.

TOUR DAY 2015 SNEAK PEEK

  
The 15 tours below are just a sample of what is in store for Tour Day 2015 with tours and events taking place on
Saturday, October 10th and throughout the rest of the month.
 
Participants will have the chance to explore modern sites across the country that include Breuer's Bronx College in New York City, Russel Wright's Manitoga in Garrison, the Schweikher House in Schaumburg, the Harriman Campus in Albany, significant architecture in Columbus, Indianna, Honolulu, and Houston, and Frank Lloyd Wright's Home and Studio and Robie HouseTour Day is not just limited to one day, and we are excited to partner again with Palm Springs Modernism Week, Sarasota Mod Weekend, and others who celebrate modernism with lectures, tours, and events over a multiple day period.
