Stop the Disfigurement of John Hejduk's 'Kreuzberg Tower' in Berlin

The 'Kreuzberg Tower' in Berlin, one of John Hejduk's few realized buildings and one of his largest, is being threatened. After years of neglect, the building's new owner, BerlinHaus Verwaltung GmbH, plans to significantly alter the exterior of the building.

International Student Competition: A Fresh Look at 20th Century Architectural Heritage

Photo Modeling of Architectural Heritage of the 20th Century

Registration for the international competition on photo modelling of significant buildings of the 20th century, open to architecture students, will be closed on March 26, 2010.

The contest invites the architects of tomorrow to express their vision of a building of the last century, built between 1901 and 2000, as an architectural description based on panoramic images and / or 3D models of the building in its current state. The competition takes place entirely online.

Site Update

During the last few months, DoCoMoMo US has made critical changes to the infrastructure of this site. Working with Columbia University's Network Architecture Lab, we will continue to make substantial upgrades throughout the course of the next year to give you more features and content and make everything on our site easier to access. Some of these changes are going to be subtle and incremental while others will be more radical. For now, our online store is offline, but we look forward to it returning soon.

You are encouraged to contact us with your suggestions (try the new contact form here).
