Docomomo US is proud to officially welcome our newest chapter: Docomomo US/Minnesota!

The Minnesota Chapter of Docomomo US will join the ten regional chapters and continue to strengthen the US working party's impact by across the country. Minnesota preservationists, architects, scholars and people interested in the area's significant modern movement history have gained momentum over the past years, organizing local tours, lectures and events, and connecting with each other through regular Facebook and Twitter updates.  For the 2009 National Tour Day Docomomo US/Minnesota presented "Haus to Haus," a tour focused on high modernism concepts and maintenance issues with a preserved postwar ranch house in Minneapolis.  The new chapter will offer local tours again this year as part of the national Tour Day 2010 initiative on October 9.

Minnesota's modern landscape is host to numerous nationally recognized modern masters.
