The tours will begin at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 and 11:30a.m. Each tour is one hour. Participants will enter through Library East, Smathers Library, Gainesville.
Description
DOCOMOMO/US Florida, in association with the Architecture Archive at Smathers Library in the University of Florida will host a morning walking tour through The Archive.
The tour will highlight the facilities, collections and procedures for the Archival repository. The collections contains the original work in the form of models, drawings, renderings, photographs and writings of Alfred B. Parker, Rufus Nims, Kenneth Treister, William Morgan, Durrell Fleegler, Frank Lloyd Wright, Carrere and Hastings and more.
