Donna Robertson, FAIA is a Professor in the College of Architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology. She teaches advanced undergraduate studios, and a seminar on The Library: History, Theory, Design. Her focus is on the political and social benefits of design excellence. When Dean of IIT Architecture (1996-2012), Robertson played a key role in IIT’s comprehensive program of physical renewal, resulting in new designs by Rem Koolhaas/OMA, Helmut Jahn, Michael Van Valkenburg, and restoration of Mies’ masterpiece Crown Hall and the IIT Chapel, following on her career interest in building “adaptation”.  The resultant transformation to programs, enrollment, fundraising and campus vitality has been widely recognized. Robertson expanded IIT’s programs of study, adding a Master of Landscape Architecture degree in 2007, and a Master of Integrated Building Design, along with concentrations in Sustainable New Cities and Healthy Environments. Her partnership in macrodesign has projects throughout the USA, such as restoration and addition to a Neutra house in the Hollywood hills.  When Dean at Tulane she served on the New Orleans CBD-Historic District Landmarks Commission. She is a Board member of Docomomo US/Chicago, and a Peer Reviewer for the GSA.

Tina Bishop, PLA, FASLA, is a founding principal and partner at Mundus Bishop. In her 40+ years of experience planning and designing public spaces, her work has yielded places nationwide that engage and enrich the communities they serve. Tina is a recognized leader with important works in historic preservation planning, rehabilitation design, and new designs that are ecologically and culturally sustainable. Tina is known for her engaging facilitation skills and in working collaboratively with a broad range of clients and communities. She serves as a Board Trustee for The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF), and as a Board Member of the Colorado Historic Preservation Review Board. Tina retreats to Crested Butte whenever possible to recharge in the mountain scenery.

Sarah Herda is the director of the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts. Founded in 1956, the Graham Foundation is the oldest foundation in the United States committed to awarding project-based grants to individuals and institutions to foster the development and exchange of diverse and challenging ideas about architecture and its role in the arts, culture, and society. Herda is credited with transforming the Foundation’s headquarters, the historic Madlener House, into a significant exhibition space, with an active program of talks, performances and other events that explore the forefront of architecture, art and design. She served as the co-artistic director of the inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial in 2015, the largest international exhibition of contemporary architecture in North America, visited by over 500,000 people. Herda was also director and curator of Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York City and the director of the Center for Critical Architecture/Art and Architecture Exhibition Space in San Francisco. She serves on the Illinois Arts Council, for which she was appointed by Governor JB Pritzker and the Architecture and Design Committee at the Art Institute of Chicago. Herda is also a founding board member of the Chicago Architecture Biennial and the Association of Architecture Organizations.

Dung Ngo is a design writer, the founder and editor-in-chief of AUGUST, a print journal on travel and design, and the publisher of August Editions, a bespoke publishing house with a focus on historical and contemporary visual culture. For over a decade he was the creative director and senior editor at Rizzoli International Publications, where he worked on the definitive monographs with such designers as I.M. Pei and Andrée Putman. He is the author of several books, including Bent Ply, a history of 20th century plywood furniture; Tom Kundig: Houses; and the forthcoming Knife Fork Spoon, a history of modernist cutlery design.

Walter L. Wilson, FAIA, was the Principal Architect for Milwaukee County for over two decades, overseeing a team of architects, engineers and technical professionals responsible for the design and maintenance of over 800 public facilities. His work has shaped judicial, cultural, mental health, correctional, recreational and transportation infrastructure, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Before his tenure at Milwaukee County, Wilson founded The Wilson Firm, Ltd., Architects and Engineers, serving as CEO for 16 years. In retirement, he continues to contribute to the profession through DESIGN 4U, an architectural consulting firm focused on owner representation and programming. He was the second African American graduate of OSU’s SOA and the first to receive the Alpha Rho Chi Medal. In 2020, he received the AIA Wisconsin (AIAW) Golden Award, the highest award bestowed upon one of its AIAW members, and in 2024 he became the inaugural recipient of the Wisconsin NOMA President’s Award. 

Theodore Prudon is a leading expert on the preservation of modern architecture and a practicing architect in New York City. Dr. Prudon has worked on the terra cotta restoration of the Woolworth Building, the exterior restoration of the Chrysler Building, and of a 1941 Lescaze townhouse in Manhattan. Dr. Prudon teaches preservation at Columbia University and Pratt Institute. He is the recipient of a Graham Foundation Individual grant for his book “Preservation of Modern Architecture.” He is the founding President of Docomomo US and a board member of Docomomo International.

Meredith Arms Bzdak, an architectural historian, is a Partner in the Princeton, NJ firm Mills + Schnoering Architects, LLC. She has over twenty years of experience in the field of historic preservation, and has produced numerous documents pertaining to historic architecture. As Associate Graduate Faculty at Rutgers University in the Art History Department, she teaches classes on the development of the modern city (specifically New York and Los Angeles), the preservation of the recent past, and modern Italian architecture. 

Tonia Moy is the vice president and director of preservation at FAI. She leads all historic and residential projects. Prior to joining FAI in 2004, she served as architectural branch chief for the State Historic Preservation Division (SHPD) and was a trustee at Historic Hawaii Foundation. Her dedication to preservation extends beyond FAI, as she helped establish Docomomo US/Hawaii. Her achievements have been widely recognized within and outside the industry. In 2022, she was awarded the prestigious Frank Haines Lifetime Achievement for her contribution to Hawaii’s preservation community. 

Eric Vogel is currently scholar-in-residence at the Taliesin Institute in Scottsdale, AZ. He is a designer, educator, architectural historian, and former Chair of the 3D Design Department at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. He holds a degree in art history from Harvard University, a master’s in architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture and is currently pursuing a mid-career PhD at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at UW-Milwaukee. As board president of the Wisconsin chapter of Docomomo US, Eric is currently leading a research and film project about Milwaukee's 20th century architectural history titled Milwaukee Moderns. Concurrently, he is working with the Museum of Wisconsin Art on two new architecture and design-related exhibitions: the evolution of Frank Lloyd Wright’s early modern furniture, from Taliesin to Usonia, and the photographic work of mid-century Wisconsin architectural photographer Richard H. Bills.
