|Time||Taylor Residence Tour in Tacoma!
Docomomo WEWA and Historic Tacoma host a tour of the Taylor Residence in Tacoma's North End. The house was custom designed by Marshall W. Perrow and built in 1951 for Dr. William and Betty Taylor and their two daughters. It is one of Tacoma’s best examples of mid-century modern residential architecture. The house is sited on a large corner lot at the intersection of N. Yakima Avenue and N. 12th Street, that offers a spectacular view of Commencement Bay.
