Eero Saarinen (1910 – 1961) is recognized as one of America’s most influential architects of the 20th Century. A+D Architecture and Design Museum in LA will be hosting the show Eero Saarinen: A Reputation for Innovation, from October 5, 2012 to January 3, 2013, highlighting the architect’s short but brilliant career. The show begins with the Smithsonian Gallery of Art Competition in 1939 and culminates with Dulles Airport in 1962, illustrating Mr. Saarinen’s influence on design in mid-Century America.
